Victor Menasce
Victor Menasce is a Canadian entrepreneur, real estate investor, author, and public speaker. He is the founder and Managing Partner of Ottawa-based real estate investment firm, US Real Estate Partners, Inc, and he is the Principal of Y Street Capital, LLC. He has invested in a wide range of real estate projects, including residential and commercial properties, as well as land development.
Menasce is also the author of two books on real estate investing: “The Great Canadian Takeover” and “Magnetic Capital”. He is a frequent public speaker on the topics of real estate investing and entrepreneurship and has appeared on various media outlets, including CNBC, CBC, and BNN. In addition to his work in real estate, Menasce is involved in various philanthropic efforts, including serving on the board of directors of the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation.
Victor is the host of “The Real Estate Espresso Podcast” which covers a wide range of topics related to real estate investing, including market analysis, financing, due diligence, and more. Menasce shares his insights and experiences as a seasoned real estate investor and also interviews other experts in the industry. The podcast aims to provide practical advice and education to help listeners succeed in their own real estate investing endeavors. With over Two Million Downloads, the podcast has consistently ranked among the top real estate podcasts on various podcast platforms such as Apple Podcasts and Spotify and has received many positive reviews from listeners.
Marc Halpern
Marc Halpern, Ph.D. has not yet decided what he wants to be when he grows up. Marc currently has four main areas of focus. Marc’s primary occupation is in the field of chemistry and is the leading expert in industrial phase-transfer catalysis (www.PhaseTransferCatalysis.com). He has helped companies save more than $200 million provided PTC services in more than 300 cities in 39 countries, conducted 58 2-day PTC boot camps in the U.S., Europe, and Asia, and wrote four books on the subject.
Marc is a successful part-real real estate investor who achieved financial freedom by doing only 1-2 deals per year as an active investor over 11 years (www.PartTimeInvestors.com). Marc then graduated to “The Ultimate Passive Investor Endgame” by transitioning out of active single-family home investing into high ROI truly passive private placement investing. Marc diversifies his private placements in three dimensions. For example, Marc’s self-directed Roth 401(k) is invested in 10 private placements in 7 sectors with 5 syndicators, fund managers, and project sponsors. Marc wrote two books on real estate investing and is a national speaker on the topic of successful part-time investing for pre-accredited and accredited investors.
Marc is now launching an innovative self-improvement platform called Now Be Happier that includes his latest book “Now Be Happier,” the app for iPhone “BeHappier”, the website www.NowBeHappier.com and the TEDx talk he presented in 2022 describing the first objective metric for happiness “How to Measure Your Happiness Score and Be Happier” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A9MViB3tS5w).
